Can a rescue mission reignite a love thought lost—and save lives before the Arctic claims them all?

Mid-January, a medevac helicopter piloted by Colton Jamison vanishes in a brutal Arctic storm over the Brooks Range in Alaska. Onboard is Piper Hanson, an experienced flight nurse. When the aircraft crashes in the frozen wilderness, rescue efforts stall as the storm rages and time slips away.

Hundreds of miles away, Lee Hanson—Piper’s estranged husband and a suspended Search and Rescue commander—receives the call. Driven by regret, he defies orders and sets out with only his skills and an elderly Inuit guide to help him navigate the deadly terrain.

At the crash site, Colton is badly injured and fading. With supplies running low, Piper faces an impossible choice: stay and try to save him or risk a treacherous journey alone through the unforgiving Arctic.

As survival hangs by a thread, love and determination become their only hope—but the wilderness may claim them first.
